By June 30, 2009, each academic program should document in WEAVEonline the completion of the following:

  1. Mission – Each degree program should have a mission statement entered in WEAVE. This mission statement should relate directly to the student learning outcomes specified.
  2. Outcomes – Each degree program should have 3-5 student learning outcomes. As programs continually re-evaluate their processes and their programs, they may add, delete, and change outcomes based on discussions and information collected.
  3. Measures – Each degree program should specify at least one measure for each outcome. Where feasible, this measure should be a direct one. In addition, most undergraduate programs will be able to identify an indirect measure of some of their outcomes through results from the senior survey administered by the Office of Academic Assessment.
  4. Findings – Each degree program should indicate the findings (results) for the two measures actually assessed during the year. (Note: If there are findings from last year, results from only one measure need to be added this year.)
